Electrical devices in the consumer markets need to comply with stringent standards for electromagnetic interference (EMI) distortion and compatibility (EMC). This paper presents results of measurements generated by an electrical drive electric torque tool a brushless DC motor. The were made accordance PN-EN 55014-1:2017-06E standard, frequency band 148 kHz–30 MHz. confirmed that tested can meet requirements defined this document. Another document, IEC 61000-3-2:2019-04E provides limits harmonic content current drawn from single-phase AC line. also related standard. Harmonics, up including 40th one, determined compared given standard class B devices. measurement indicate use active power factor corrector (PFC) filter. Such system has been computer simulations. its ability relevant standards.
